- I wanted a room, Down by the Lake.
- Just a room with a view, for pity's sake. But all I got me, was a lousy stall, a lonely cubicle, Ya' know that's all! And here's what I got, for a lakeside view, a grey metal door, and a five deep queue! So now I'm gettin', feelings I can't refuse, deep down inside, Sylvan's mean Crapper Blues! (apologies to songwriters everywhere)
- Notes
- Carole Rowland had contacted Jack regarding the caricatures that were drawn on the walls of the upstairs lounge in the original curling rink - he dropped off these drawings with a note stating Carole was to take what she wanted and he would pick up the rest; also it was fine to crop them. Carole talked to Jack and he said these drawings are for us to keep and do what we wish with them.
- Greg Johnson will photograph these originals so we can link digital images to the database
- Drawings are now sorted by date and descriptions will include 'subject access' to allow for search capability
