On behalf of the Sylvan Lake Kinsmen Club, Dr. Brian Inglis presented the most valuable player awards. Recipients were: Junior 'B' Girls - Cheryl Rowland; Junior 'A' Girls - Patsy Bergstrom; Junior 'B' Boys - David Swinton; Junior 'A' Boys - Kellie Rosie; Junior Varsity Girls - Linda Hamill; Junior Varsity Boys - Scott Sylvester and Paul Storey; Varsity Girls - Dianne Nelson and Connie Mannix

Special awards were presented for outstanding abilities. Diane Nielsen took the 'Guy Smilie' Award - for her continual smile that throws the opponent off guard
