About Us

The Sylvan Lake & District Archives collects, preserves and provides access to records that tell the story of Sylvan Lake and area. Our archival records date back to when the settlers first arrived in the early 1900’s.

The society is a not-for-profit organization primarily run by volunteers with support from the Town of Sylvan Lake. The collection consists of photographs, documents and various forms of media that have been donated to and collected by the Archives over the 28 years that the organization has been serving the community.
