- The Alexander Pavilion was built in 1925 by Henry Hussfeldt on the beach between 50th and 51A Streets. It was later renamed Prom Hall. The dance hall was located in the back of the building with a tea room on the front. It was also the site of concerts, New Year's Eve frolics, farm machinery shows…

- A 3-page covering letter, 37 pages of photocopied photos of various scenes and people of Sylvan Lake and District and a picture frame from Hunter Studios (a Sylvan Lake business from 1932 to 1938) were given to Sheila Jarvin by Gladys Hunter - Miller (daughter of John and Haydee Hunter) of Calgary, Alberta

- The Alexander Pavilion was built in 1925 by Henry Hussfeldt on the beach between 50th and 51A Streets. It was later renamed Prom Hall. The dance hall was located in the back of the building with a tea room on the front. It was also the site of concerts, New Year's Eve frolics, farm machinery shows, Spring Teas, weddings, roller skating and the first picture shows in town. It was destroyed by fire in July, 1959.
