- Sandra's uncle, Weldon Curran, from Stillwater, Oklahoma took all these pictures of Sylvan Lake when he visited over the years; he was a great photographer.

- John Law advises the campground by the marina built by Hartley McLeod was called Sandy Cove after Hartley tore the cabins down. Tenting spots and year-round parking for trailers available (across from where Best Western motel is now situated)
