- Brian Flanagan is looking for a local organization or individual that would like to save the 1906 era Palmer house by moving it to a new location in Sylvan Lake
- Prior to his purchase of the property, which is slated to be the new location of a Rexall Drugs, it had been owned by the Palmer family
- Charles S. Palmer came to Sylvan Lake in 1926 and ran the award winning creamery on an adjacent lot for a number of years
